Kitten Adoption Process

Submit a Kitten Application
To be considered for adoption, all prospective families must complete a Kitten Application. We review each application carefully to ensure our kittens go to loving forever homes.

Reserve Your Kitten
If your application is approved, you will get access to our available kittens and can place a $1,000 deposit to reserve your perfect Ragdoll.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and apply toward the total. See pricing, payment and go-home details.

1How much are your kittens?
$4,500 per kitten, flat — the same price regardless of color, pattern, sex or eye color. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit reserves your kitten, and the $3,500 balance is due before pickup.
2What age are the kittens available for adoption?
Kitten selections usually occur around 10-12 weeks. Early spay/neuter is done at approximately 11-12 weeks, and kittens generally go home at around 12 weeks, once they have recovered from surgery and been cleared by our veterinarian, with microchipping and age-appropriate vaccinations complete. Some kittens stay longer when they need it.
3Do you health test your cats?
Yes. Every cat in our breeding program has a genetic panel run. Those panels include the HCM-associated mutation and the PKD1 mutation, along with coat, color and blood type. To be precise about what that means: genetic testing tells you whether a cat carries a specific known mutation. It is not the same as a cardiac ultrasound, and we don't describe our cats as "heart tested." Every kitten also has a veterinary clearance exam before going home.
4Can I see the kittens before adoption?
In person, yes — once your application is approved and your deposit is placed, we'll arrange a time for you to come and meet them.
Before that, you can see more than a scheduled call would ever show you. We keep a public, standing video record: years of video filmed inside our own home and cattery across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, plus a feature on The Cat Butler, a third-party channel we don't control. You don't have to ask and you don't have to wait — it's all there right now, and it's a deeper and more current picture than one call could give.

5Do you ship kittens?
We don't ship kittens as cargo. For families outside driving distance we arrange a flight nanny, who carries your kitten in the cabin as their own carry-on and hands them to you the same day. Closer to home, we offer pickup in Orangevale, or — depending on your location — we can meet partway or arrange ground delivery for a fee.
